Why do you put CD's on a mouse trap car?
CD's make good wheels for a mouse trap car. They provide little friction and the large diameter will help you get the most distance.
Basically instead of putting petrol diesel into the fuel tank you actually put mouse traps in. but not all petrol stations offer mouse trap unleaded, you'll have to look around to find it. A school project that requires student to build a toy vehicle that is powered by a standard mouse trap. The object is to see who can build one to go the farthest.
the mouse trap is wound around an axle and when unleased the snapping power of the mouse trap sends it forward. Or, what you do is pull the square like lever down, holding it so it doesn't snap. Then with the little thin long"stick" you just slide it into the small"curved" like rectangle. Then put the car down, hit the mousetrap lightly with a metal rod, and it goes flying!
You didn't say why the mouse traps weren't working for you. I once set a mouse trap, stepped back, and a shrew immediately came out from behind my hot water heater and approached the mouse trap. Once I saw how it behaved around the mouse trap, I changed my trapping technique, and I had much better success.
