I crack my fingers right now, and am trying to stop. I have noticed that my knuckles are getting big, and i no longer want to do it, so i put duck tape on them. I know kinda odd, but it works. The duck tape makes you think of not cracking your fingers if you feel, or look at it. Hope that helps!

you put all your fingers excecpt the middle finger
to play a low e, have all fingers on and bottom left and right little fingers on as well. to play a middle e, put the first two fingers of your left hand plus your thumb on the appropriate holesto play a higher e make sure u have the speaker key down and put all fingers on the left hand on, and then the first two fingers on the right.to play high high e, don't put the first left hand finger down, but put the thumb finger and the bottom two down and then don't put any down on the right hand. Remember to also have the speaker key on and sqeaze really tight! x
Buy practice pads, you just put them on the drums and snares/symbols and it dulls the sound
