Depending on the error, it could either mean that someone posted before you got a chance to, or possibly, the message board could have been protected. If you get a yellow message, and there is no box to type, then it means that the message board was protected. If you are able to click the post button, but then it pops up a screen asking you to edit the board, then it means that someone posted before you.
Leave a message on their board saying you want to chat.
By posting on their message board which you can do by clicking on the 'Reply' button located on the top right corner of the message.
If you know their name, then open =your own= message board and type their name instead of yours in the URL box (the very top of the page). If you are on their profile page, then look at the top right area and click "Message this user". That will take you to their message board.
That happens sometimes when more than one person is trying to post to the same message board. Just cut whatever you were trying to say, wait a bit, and then paste it and post it quickly. That often works for me.
Just delete the message, as long as it's yours. You cannot delete an entire message board, as the message board is permanent and cannot be removed. Just delete your message and move on, because it's the only way you can do it without trying to offend someone.
You cant unless they put a message on your message board or send you a gift. Thats the only way of knowing if someones online.
If you mean the email address of other WikiAnswers contributors, then you have to ask them on their message board. Just keep in mind that the message boards are not private; anyone can read them.
First, someone would have to have a reason to click your name to go to your message board. For example, you write an answer to someones question, and they want to say thank you or something. Right now, I have no idea what your user name is, so there is no way for me to leave you a message. Now if you wrote on your own message board, it well just sit there unless somehow, someone: A) Clicks on your name, and B) They click on "Message user," to leave you a message. Your message board is mostly for people to leave you a message. I hoped this helped you. Enjoy the day/evening.
No, you cannot run out of space on your WikiAnswers message board. You can have as many messages as you can possibly get in it. The WikiAnswers message board messages are stored in the WikiAnswers database, and their database is extremely large, and may never run out of space.
Yes. Anywhere you see someones name, just click on it. That will send you to their bio page. Once there, on the right you'll see a picture of an envelope and "Message user." Click either one and you'll have their message board. Or you can go to the very bottom of their bio page. Enjoy the day/evening.
