Hawaii & Alaska
Those letters will spell 'Alaska and Hawaii' with an 'f' left over.
Hawaii and Alaska were the last to states because they are the farthest to the left of the USA and people were still discovering land. Their flags were the last because they made the flags when the sates were discovered.
There are only 3 states that don't have poisonous snakes its only possible if someone went to another state with luggage and left it open and the snake got in it. The states are Alaska, Hawaii , Rode island.

In the continental US (not including Alaska and Hawaii) the last lower left corner state is California, while the last upper left corner is Washington.
Take a list of all 50. Now eliminate Alaska and Hawaii. You are left with the 48 lower or continguous states.
There isn't enough room on most small maps to place the entire state of Alaska on the map. They put a tiny, unrealistic sized picture of Alaska in the bottom left, near Hawaii because it will fit nicely there. Alaska doesn't fit very well on a Map of the U.S. also because it is so much farther north than the the other states.
Roughly there is 2000 NeNe Left in Hawaii. About 1000 of which are in zoos and wildlife parks.

Well, if what you mean by that is 'Which states are not connected to the United States of America?', then they are Hawaii and Alaska. Hawaii is actually the only state in the United States of America that is an island and is completely surrounded by water. Alaska is connected to Canada in the top far left corner, but is still a state of the United States.
Well because the world is round it's both... but if you start at Hawaii and go west (left) you will hit Japan first...
