Why do we use animals to test learning?

Scientists are always interested in how animals compare to humans. They test animals to see how animals think and how smart they are. Learning tests also show how animals learn, and since we are animals, we can use this information. Any information is valuable to a scientist, because science means learning about the world by discovering facts.
