I think the author spends so much of the narration talking about what a kind person Lennie because he want the audience to understand how good lennie is.

Lennie killed George Because he was mad and vey upset .
He treats Lennie like a brother he's harsh with him but in a loving way, i think he stays with him because he is like his protector he keeps Lennie protected and out of trouble.
for me, personally, i think that zoos are are really great place for animals, as it helps endangered animals survive, and zoos can also provide medical care to animals, should they need it. i think authors use animals as charters because animals are REALLY interesting to read about! also i think the author wants to show they are a good writer by telling a story from an animals point of view because that would be so hard! i mean, most animals aren't the smartest things ever so i really like to read books about how the authors think the ANIMALS think! :)
George takes care of Lennie because he is Lennie's best friend and feels responsible for him. Lennie relies on George for guidance and protection, and George sees their relationship as a way to provide companionship and support in a harsh and lonely world.
He's afriad that they would lose their job if The Boss knew about Lennie. The Boss would think Lennie would be some useless person that he's paying for nothing. That is why George emphasizes on how strong he is, because Lennie is very strong. And would be helpful to work. George had said they were cousins because The Boss was thinking that George had been bringing Lennie around to jobs, secretly stealing Lennie's money; Tricking his older bosses. Though George would never do this; He needed Lennie and Lennie needed him.
Crooks' first reply to Lennie telling him about the land is skepticism, as he is not convinced that George and Lennie will actually be able to achieve their dream of owning a piece of land. He questions Lennie about the feasibility of their plan and whether they truly understand the obstacles they may face.
Curley wanted to fight George I think, so he picked on Lennie. He hit Lennie a couple times and then Lennie stopped a punch in mid-air and squeezed Curley fist and brokenit ending his boxing career. Then Lennie Lille Curleys wife and he runs away and George kills him. :)
