Once it was thought that Mercury does not rotate. We now know that Mercury does rotate, and it takes 58.6 of our days to make one revolution. So in answer to your question every part of Mercury gets very cold and also very hot. The temperature on the surface ranges from -170o C to 430oC (-270oF to 800oF) And the side that faces away from the Sun gets so cold because there is no atmosphere on Mercury to retain the heat. It is facing space, the heat that it absorbed while facing the Sun radiates away, and as space is cold so the surface gets cold.
Why is it cooler to sit behind an umbrella on the beach one a Sunny day as apposed to sitting in the sun light? The same reason the back side of Mercury is cooler, it's not in the direct radiant energy of the sun so it's cooler.
It can actually drop to -147°C, Weird because its the closest to the sun...
It is cold because of the lack of atmosphere. The sunlight cannot reach the dark side of Mercury, and there is not enough of an atmosphere to hold it the heat.
The surface temperature on Mercury can drop to 100K (-173'C) when away from the sun - even colder at the poles (80K).
it can be 102 degrees celcious
liquid. think of what you put into your car.
I think the word you're looking for is temperature.
No
You usually have a temperature when your forehead, cheeks, and chest is hot or you can get a ummm..... I for got what it was called but I think it was a thermometer.
There is no simple answer to how temperature is defined at the microscopic level. However, though this is not entirely accurate, it helps to think of temperature as the average kinetic energy of the particles.
I think it was money problems though im not sure
i think that the answer is the sun but if that is not right i hope i was close.
The Kelvin scale is based on the absolute motion of molecules, at absolute zero, there is no motion. Of course this is theoretical, it has never been reached, though we've come close, withen a few thousandths I think.
You will have to contact your local store, but the stores around here close anywhere between 9 and 10, depending on the day of the week. Sundays they close at 6 though I think.
MJ dog, rose was close though. I think 34 points by rose.
Well, I don't think you can. I'm not sure, though. L.A is close by , though. I'm positive there is an AG store there:)
I don't think they closed because today I think I saw one on TV. It may have been something else though.
The average human temperature is 98.6 f. He/she is not having a fever though. I think he/she is okay.
I think recently, like a year or so ago, the hottest temperature in July was around 39 Celsius. I can't remember the dates exactly though.
It depends...are you close to 14 or is he close to 15? He might take advantage of you but maybe he wouldn't. It should be fine though, i think its fine(:
No, think and though do not rhyme.
i think that you can get close to anyone as long as you can trust them.. Now there are some people that you cannot get close to.. but i think you can kinda get close to anyone. :]
