Uhmmm... Because celli and violas don't make as much sound as tubas, and you can have only one tuba in the whole orchestra, and have it overpower all of the other instruments, but when you only have one cello, it's hard to hear them~same with the violas.
Unfortunately, not many. They think violin and viola are better, which is not true, none of them are better, they all are equally great. If you are thinking about cello, you may want to have long arms, it helps with getting perfect sound on your instrument. [][][][][][][][][][][][][] I'm sorry, but your answer is really not at all correct. You may be entitled to your opinions, but not your incorrect facts. A symphony orchestra may have from 8 to 12 cellos; that's hardly 'not many.' In fact, in an 80-member symphony orchestra, the cello section usually constitutes at least 10 percent of the total orchestra! I don't know who you reference when you claim "they think violin and viola are better" but that's a totally absurd statement. And as for arm length? Apparently you know little to nothing about the cello.
there are two. violin and cello p.s orchestra is the strings ____________________________________________________ i think the conducter is the most important position in an orchestra, he keeps every1 in tune, determines how to interpret the music, corrects errors in rehearsals etc.
I think you mean five. Violin I, Violin II, Viola (Violin III) Cello Double Bass.
I can think of: - Typical orchestra - All the instruments. - String Orchestra - Only withe the string section - Chamber Orchestra - Small baroque orchestra with only a few players to each part Hope this Helps
String Quintet (plus piano). I think you meant "like a symphony orchestra". A symphony is a piece of music, not a musical combo.
Violin cello i think
No you eat it and they sell it in stores i think what you mean is a cello.
Type your answer here... Cello
Mahogony, I think!?
I have played cello for two years now, and I think that the cello is a very smooth instrument. It has a rich smooth sound (I also play violin and cello sounds better) that many people love. =)
That would be the bass violin also known as the double bass
I think that would be your choice.
