Turkeys usually live in the forest, on the ground, with trees. They lay their eggs on the ground in a nest, but I don't think that's the safest place for them to be! :) - Kortney

No. Turkeys were eaten if they were found. Wild turkeys are not timid and people hunting food wouldn't care if it was or not.
