There are two primary reasons that we yawn. The first is to cool the brain says Andrew Gallup, a researcher in the Department of Biology at Binghamton University. According to a study conducted by Mr. Gallup brain temperature was a controllable cause of yawning. The second reason is to regulate Carbon Dioxide levels. Yawning is great way for the brain to ex hail large levels of retained Carbon Dioxide. Carbon Dioxide represents an acid in the blood stream and is manipulated to maintain normal Ph levels.
Hope that helps.

Yes, you can yawn while sleeping, I've seen it done many times.
They yawn a whole life time
when you yawn you get rid of carbon dioxide and breathe in oxygen.
you can never tell how many times you yawn because we all yawn at different rates
while sleepy CO2 accumulation increase and to get rid of it we yawn.
yawns are contagious becuase when we see another person yawn our brain sees it as that person is gasping for air and they dont have enough oxygen so as a defense mechenisme we will yawn also.
I have seen a lot of people yawn in my life and never once has any of them ever howled at the same time
They yawn for the same reason that you do, too much carbon dioxide in the body. Yawning is the body's was of releasing the excess gases.
Since yawning is a reflex, it does not require consciousness.
People yawn when their brain isn't getting enough oxygen. If you not breathing properly and not getting enough air while singing, you will yawn. If this is an annoyance to you, practice proper breathing techniques for singers. You can find them anywhere online.
No. They yawn for the same reasons we do.
they yawn because when you yawn it passes on to other people . so you yawn then someone's right next to you then i think they inhale then they start to yawn ?
