If it is the 2.5l engine,it is probably the valve stem seals. They are notorius for drying out and cracking. On mine, after sitting over night,I would get a big puff of smoke when I put it in gear and accelerated away from a dead stop.
Possible that there is oil in your intake.
supercharger seals could be bad
The white smoke from the exhaust of a Mazda 6 can be caused by a number of factors. One of the factors is the lack of oil in the coolant. Another reason might be a blown head gasket.
It does indicate a leak, oil is getting inside the screw chamber on the supercharger and is being blown out with the air resulting in puffs of blue/white smoke at startup and oil pooling inside the intercoolers.
White smoke that smells sweet, is coolant in the combustion chamber, normally caused by a cracked head or a blown head gasket Blue smoke, the engine is burning oil. Black smoke, the air/fuel mixture is too rich. A small amount of white smoke at startup, that goes away, in cold tempertures is normal.
White and stinks - Head Gasket - $$$$$$ White and wet with no real smell - Cold damp weather, normal Blue - Fuel mixture too rich - Half a dozen reasons Black Dry Soot - Bad news - Engine or Cat Conv Failure Black Oily - Worse news - Engine
Cold start
Turbos gone bro :S
Sounds like a misfiring spark plug or loose plug wire, crossed plug wires, or maybe poor compression on one cylinder. Is it lacking in power? Blowing black or white smoke out the exhaust? Using more gas than it used to?
The white smoke means coolant being burned. So the chances that its a head gasket problem are pretty high.
White smoke at start up is due to moisture in the exhaust or on a diesel it can be normal due to the engine being cold.White smoke at start up is due to moisture in the exhaust or on a diesel it can be normal due to the engine being cold.
corsa 1.5 diesel lumpy at start up with white smoke from exhaust returning to normal after a couple of minuets
