Well it indecats for you to shut your door
I believe the push button switch for the factory fog lights is in the center stack of your dash , just to the right of the radio , near the bottom of the radio
It depends on what lights, did you turn on a switch, open a door, If they are dash warning lights, you have a malfunction.
Open the drivers door, remove panel on left side of dash. This panel is covered when the door in closed.
the Yukon has a dome overide switch located next to the headlight switch it has a little light bulb drawing on it that controls if the interior light works or not radio stays on for 5-10 minutes after car is shut off by design unlss door is opened. if radio still stays on when door is opened and lights still don't work after the dome overide is reset ten your problem involves the door switch itself= the swithc that recognizes when the door is open or losed
I had this issue turned out to be one of the switches on the door. Does the dash show any door ajar lights? If so start on that door
Two possibilities; the dash switch is set to ON that operates the interior lights, or one or more of the switches that detect a door open has failed.
The battery is still going until you open a door.
Try checking the driver side dash between dash and the door.
Should be fuse box on passengers side as you open the door it is right on the side of the dash.
The radio should go off when you open the door to get out. Maybe a relay?
On the in side of the door on the driver side of the dash just open the door and pull the panel cover off.
change blown fuse for interior light, fuse is found on the inside drivers side kick panel....
