You will also have no interior light. When the Astra has a accident and it deployes the airbags it turn on the hazzards and interior light. You will need a new airbag module which is under the centre console. If your lucky it might reset using the vauxhall tech 11 but this is a dealer tool a good auto electrian will be able to plug in the vehicle and reset or diagnose the module failing that its a trip to the dealer. Check the seatbelt holders on seat see if there ok they should be quite long and easy to plug in the belt if there short and the stems look quite wrinkled they have been deployed and want changing to..

Sounds like you have a short in your wiring harness for your rear lights. As for your dash turn signal light, your dummy light is just acting up. You probably need a new wiring harness for your rear lights.
