I think there are two different sets of lightbulbs. So it sounds like you need to replace the bulbs to your regular lights.

Check the switch on turn signal stalk - do they work when you pull back on stalk? Check relay in power distribution box

Why do my highbeams work but my headlights do not?

The headlights are on two different fuses. The high beams are on one fuse and the low beams are on another fuse. The fuse for the low beams may need to be changed.

Why do your headlights only operate as highbeams you turn the low beams on and they work as parkers then you turn low beams on and all lights work as one?

I think faulty light switch.

94 Toyota pickup when you turn highbeams on they don't work but when you flash the highbeams they do work?

Probably a issue with the multifunction swith (headlamp switch). You'll need to test the switch.

Why would the high beams not work on a 1990 Lincoln Town Car with auto headlights and auto dimmer if the dash indicator is lit?

Ok... need a little more info here... but if the high beams work manually, but not with the auto dimmer, my first guess would be that you have a faulty relay somewhere in the system. If the highbeams don't work at all (manually or otherwise) then I would guess the highbeams could be burned out, or you could have a faulty dimmer switch / relay. Good luck! .

What if your highbeams do not work?

most likely to be the switch in the car very common in pontiacs

1999 Mazda protege headlights don't work but the highbeam indicator light stays on The other night the highbeams while in lowbeam mode starting flickering on and off but that went away.?

Both of your regular headlights are out but your highbeams and daylight saving lights come on is this normal Pontiac Vibe 2003?

No, it's not normal. Some 2003 Vibe's have automatic headlights triggered by a light sensor. If you leave the headlight switch in the middle setting between "on" and "off" they will come on by themselves when it's dark. If you turn them off the daytime running lights will still come on and the high beams will still work but the headlights won't come on automatically at night.

When is it safe to use your bright headlights?

It is safe to use the bright [highbeam] headlights when there is no oncoming traffic/drivers who could be blinded by the bright light. Also, it is unsafe to use highbeams when there is fog or smoke which would reflect the light back to you, thus reducing the distance which you can see.

How do you turn on highbeams for a 1998 Ford Windstar?

To turn on the highbeams of a 1998 Ford Windstar, bring your lever that controls the wipers toward you and release that turns the highbeams on. To turn off highbeams just push the lever towards the dash.
