Do you mean the dome light, or, dash lites?
In either case, there is an intermittent. Might be the light switch. or a bad fuse connection. Or, poor connection at fuse box. Or, pinched wire in the harness(This usually blows fuse, though.) If it is only the dome light, flickerring when a door is open, it could be a bad connection at the bulb. (They get HOT! Be careful!) Or, it could simply be a bad or dirty switch to that one door--probably the driver's, as it sees the most use. Spray it with Liquid wrench and see. Or, check its connection--unscrew it from the chassis and look at it.
If it's the dash or courtesy lights, the same problem. The switch or bulb connections to the glove compartment, ash tray, etc. If the dash lights only, probably the rheostat on the light switch has loose wiper. Or, possibly bad connection inside dash. Either one means removing dashboard; lots of work. Try the simple stuff I mentioned, first. Sometimes, just pulling the "lights" fuse and reinserting it can fix an oxidized connection problem.
Headlights, since they require more power than the inside lights of a car.
No.
Lights inside the car. Dome light, courtesy light, etc.
Have you checked all the lights? Reverse lights, tail lights and brake lights?
my car use to start but it sat for a while now it clicks at the box that has the abs relay switch; what could be the problem?
turn the inside lights off
No, -but that could indicate you have a major electrical problem.
Could be a fuse, a relay... definitely something electrical. Now if you have dash lights coming on for no apparent reason, it's the ignition switch.
It's not coming on in my car. I keep my car in good repair. ---Update--- It regularly means maintainence required.
The velocity of light coming from a cars lights will be the speed of light C in the substance in front of the lights. It wont be the speed of light+the speed of the car however.
You can remove the panel inside the back of the car. From there you can access your tail lights and your tag lights.
My brake lights, dome lights and dash board lights went out at the same time. I checked the fuse under the hood of the car and I can't locate the fuse box inside the car. My questions are (1) what cloud have cause for all three(3) lights to go out at the same time and (2) where inside the car is the fuse box?
