No spacers don't hurt your teeth. When they put them on, in feels sorta wierd but doesnt hurt. When the spacers separate your teeth it hurts a tiny bit but the goes away in a few more days

∙ 13y agoi just got 8 spacers in and when they put them it kinda feels like someone is pulling your teeth out or to me it felt like someone was digging into my gums. the pain should go away very soon after they put them in. your teeth may be sore the next day, like mine were. it may hurt to eat hard food so i would recommend eating softer foods. the most annoying thing about them is the feeling that you have food in between your teeth. hope this helped!

With spacers, you can floss normally, but defonatly DO NOT floss between the teeth that you have spacers in , because they will be fulled out and then you will have to get them replaced again. Just wait until they have been taken out to floss between those teeth.

Before I got my spacers in my mouth i had to get little rubber bands in between my molars to create space for the spacers . And those hurt terribly . getting braces hurts and getting them tightened hurts. idk yet about the actual spacers cus i haven't got them in my mouth yet. but my best suggestion to you is take Tylenol because your gonna need it !
