Your car needs a tune-up.
The car specs of the Silverado 3500 will differ depending on the year of Silverado you wish to purchase. With this in mind you can expect such specifications like 3 seats, gas fuel type, a 6.0L V8, 322 hp @ 4400 rpm, and the average length to be around 225.0 in.
5.5 is the fastest verified time with no lift shift in 1st and 2nd and launching @ 3500 rpm. Car & Driver Jan 08
that car has a rev limiter to make ur tach go higher find and eliminate it
whaat? well if its automatic, then just put it in d or d4 and it will be automatic. Since it is an old car you don't want to have the engine go at high rpm's usually above 3500. So on the highway keep it at the lowest gear, 5th for a stick. and shift the gear when you hit 3000 rpm's.
i doent care if you cared you would ask a perfesional and stop asking this place yes i am a pefesional and just sell the car you doent deserve it
The rpm's should be... in a standard from about 2000-3000.... and in an automatic 2500-3500. However remember that these are general estimates and depend on the size of the motor (a 4-cylinder will have higher rpm's than a V6, and so on) and the condition of the car (fluids/maintenance/etc.).
800-1200 rpm
The rpm of the engine - revolutions per minute
I don't see why not. The normal cruising speed of 100 km/hr ( 62 mph ) in 5th gear is accomplished at around 3200 rpm, and celica has a high revving engine. Max torque doesn't arrive until you hit about 4200 rpm. i own a 92 celica, I love this little car, but there is just not enough power in lower rpm range.
Mercedes Benz SLK 230's engine will start cutting out at rpm's above 4k if the car is in park. This is a self preservation safety feature.
Start investing the 3500$ now and make it grow a little lol
That is about your average idle RPM. It depends on what car you have and the age of your car. If it bothers you, i'd recommend going to a place that fixes cars.
