There are a few things that could cause this problem. It could be the wiring to the alternator, the alternator solenoid, or the wiring.?æ
Bad battery, starter, cables or switch.
Low battery - not enough power to crank all the way over or, Fuel pump needs to be replaced, not getting fuel into the engine.
It means just that, the battery has been drained, has no power left. W/o battery the engine can't crank, w/o cranking it won't fire, w/o fire it won't run.
iT CAN BE EITHER FUEL OR FIRE. taKE IT TO A GARAGE.
If you mean will crank, but no fire, then check for spark and fuel. If you mean will not crank, then check the wiring and the starter.
happened on mine when the battery shorted out against the bonnet
No. The starter motor, battery, battery cables, and ignition switch are all that is required. This will make the motor spin. The map sensor IS required to make the engine fire up, however.
Yes as long as the battery has suffient power to crank engine and supply necessary power to allow coil to fire
My problem that I found when mine did the same thing is there are two red wires going to the battery. The longer one goes to the battery ground. Jesse
A fire washer, also known as an injector seal, is usually fitted to a diesel injector. The fire washer is responsible for keeping diesel vapor from escaping the combustion chamber.
Hold the gas pedal in, and slowly let it out. Will it eventually idle? Common after draining battery, check proper IAC operation.
Yes. The crank sensor tells the coil when to fire.
