Two things to take into consideration. 1. The belt is directional. The arrow should point towards the front of the motor when installed. Not installing it this way will cause the belt to walk off the pullies or get into a bind when it partially walks off the pullies. 2. The belt tensioner. Impropper installation of the tension........ie...too much tension can prematurely wear a belt out or cause it to break. Follow the exact description in the manual. Use the proper tolerances.
