how many times you drove the car almost on empty [it only takes once to burn your fuel pump] you need to replace it, GM'S good for it.
that sounds like your starter motor isn't working, which would explain why there is no noise when you try to restart it
about 500 hours
could be that the coil is getting hot and wont restart until it cools down.
If you able to restart after a few minutes, then your CMP is defective.
If the check engine light is on...might be a dirty EGR valve.
next time it won't restart, try disconnecting temp sensor
Sounds like it could be vapor locking. Try putting a few wooden clothes pins on fuel line
Apples approved way is to shut down the computer for at least 10 seconds then restart and press the Shift key immediately after the start up chime, hold it until you get the grey Apple logo and the spinning gear indicator. When done just restart normally. You can just restart then hold down the shift key instead of shutting the computer completely down but some trouble shooting steps are to cold start the computer, (shutting down for a few seconds to a few minutes to clear the ram, etc, and cool any overheated parts)
Only by ending the process and starting it again.
Since it is shutting down while it is running that tells me your alternator is not putting out enough current and needs replaced. You will need to charge the battery fully prior to starting after installing the new alternator or you could burn out the new alternator as well. I.King
The most common issue is a fuel filter. It could be a few other things, but the fuel filter is where I would start.
you would restart your computer to install updates or return your computer to a fresh state when you have been running a lot of prgrams that would still be running in the background even after closeing them
