The TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) is detecting a fault. Check your tire pressure. Most Jeeps run 33psi in the tires. After setting the tire pressure on all tires (including the spare if it's a full size tire) then drive the vehicle over 20 MPH for 3 -5 miles. The light should reset, if not you may have a bad sensor. If it's the sensor then you'll have to take it to a qualified shop (someone that has the propper test / reset equiptment) to have it replaced. Sears and a few others can do it without haveing to pay the high price of a dealership.
Check the pressure in all of the tires and inflate them to the pressure indicated on the door jam. The light should go off within a few minutes. If it stays on then you have a bad sensor in the tire or on the car.
no it doesnt
The light will reset itself if the system is working properly and the tires are at the correct pressure. If the pressure is correct and the light is still on, you need to take it in for service.
Low tire pressure.

To reset the pressure light, first inflate the tires to the proper cold pressure (30-32 lbs, or as the sticker says on the door frame when you open the car door), and then hold the button in for five seconds on the pressure light.
