I honestly think it is a great mistake to ascribe any religious significance to Anne Frank.
__
She was jewish, and it was the time when Hitler and the Nazis were doing horrible, horrible things to the Jews.
___
True, but the Nazis persecuted Jews for racial, not religious reasons. Converts from Judaism to Christianity and their children were treated in the same way. Anyway, the fact that she had a religion does make give her 'religious significance'. Surely, nobody is suggesting that she was a saint.
Anne Frank's diary, written while she and her family were in hiding from the Nazis during World War II, serves as a poignant reminder of the human impact of the Holocaust. Anne was Jewish, and her diary reflects her faith and struggles as a Jewish girl living under occupation. Her story has become a symbol of resilience, hope, and the atrocities committed during the Holocaust.
Anne believes that having a religion is a gift due to seeing that it is better to believe in God then to be an Atheist. An Atheist doesn't believe in any god. Anne believed strongly that she is capable of many things if she believes in God. Can't you see that her dream came true to be a world re noun writer? God can do wondrous deeds just like for Anne....
I guess this helps...
