Out-with means Auschwitz, it's a camp from the Holocaust.
the main problem is that Bruno is trying to help the boy in the stripped pajamas escape from the camp. while Bruno is helping the little boy he is also bringing the boy food because he is starving from not being fed at the camp. At the end Bruno digs up a hole and instead of the boy in the striped pajamas coming out Bruno goes in to help the little boy find his grandfather. they both end up going into a gas chamber and both die by mistake.
Out-With is actually Auschwitz death camp. It is written as Out-With because Bruno can't say Out-With, and the book is told in the eyes of Bruno.
Aushwitz, a death camp.
