Dallas is the other extreme. He does not live by anyone's rules and does what he wants when he wants regardless of rules or laws. Cherry has a romanticized view of Dally's life. She wishes she could be a little bit like that.

∙ 9y agoJohnny loves Dallas because he looks up to him as the big brother he never had. Johnny's home life is bad and he can see the good in Dallas. Cherry is attracted to Dallas because he is a 'bad' boy, and something she knows she could never have.
