They didn't do it because they didn't have the floats.
The Main Street Electrical Parade started in 1972 and ran until 1996 at Disneyland. After that the floats were refurbished and sent to Disney World(Disney World had earlier sent their version of the parade to Disneyland Paris). In 2001 Disney World sent them back to Anaheim (except for a couple, which went to Paris), but instead of reopening the parade in Disneyland Disney decided to use the still popular Electrical Parade as a draw for their newly opened (and disappointingly attended) California Adventure park. By 2010, California Adventure was doing a little better (not because of the parade, but because Disney spent a bank full of money revamping it), and Disney sent the Electrical Parade back to Disney World.
That said, the Electrical Parade recently (early 2017) began a "limited engagement" run in Disneyland (early 2017). I'm not sure what's going to happen after that ends in summer 2017; the parade will likely return to Disney World, though it could be sent to the Disney parks in either Hong Kong or Shanghai (it will probably NOT be sent to Tokyo, since that park is not actually owned by Disney).

~420 miles. The trip will require almost 7 hours actual driving time. Longer once you reach the Southern California 8 lane wide parking lanes.
There is no "fee", because Disneyland no longer offers discounted tickets to annual passholders on blackout days. If you want to get in, you would have to buy a one-day ticket at the regular price.
Yonge with 1895 kilometers
There is no longer a Disney game, there used to be one then they were going to make new one but they are not going to anymore.
No, the Colorado Street Bridge is not longer than the Golden Gate Bridge. The Colorado Street Bridge spans approximately 1,500 feet, while the Golden Gate Bridge stretches about 8,981 feet in total length. Therefore, the Golden Gate Bridge is significantly longer than the Colorado Street Bridge.
The common noun for Disneyland is "amusement park." It's where dreams come true, wallets get lighter, and lines are longer than your last relationship. So, next time you're craving a churro and a spin on the teacups, head on over to the magical world of the amusement park known as Disneyland.
Electrical equipment no longer used in the workplace should be disconnected from the power grid, at the least. Where reasonable, it may be removed and its metal components sold for scrap.
Disneyland Park Hours on New Year's EveIn 2010, Disneyland is open on New Year's Eve (Friday, December 31) from 8 a.m. through to 2 a.m. (See the Related link to the Disneyland website.)
The electrical energy provides power. When the chemical energy is depleted, the battery will not longer generate electrical energy.
The first Spiderman balloon was introduced in 1987 and flew in the parade for twelve consecutive years until its retirement in 1998. The new, redesigned Spiderman joined the parade in 2009, and is scheduled for use through 2011. The new balloon is 78 feet long, making it the second longest balloon in the 2010 parade. Kermit the Frog is longer by a few inches.
