Why does Firefox create random screenshots of your browsing called moz-screenshot-NUMBER.jpg in the temp folder?

Apparently this is a temporary file created to help rich text editors copy and paste windows clipboard images. It's in the Mozilla Source Code, and nothing nefarious.
Firefox will create files called moz-screenshot.jpg when you paste images into rich text editors. It's possible you accidentally press the Print Screen button (which puts a screenshot on the clipboard) then pasted it into a text editor.
