While we can't prove that God cares about the US Presidential election, if you did believe that God made Barak Obama win, this could be for a number of reasons. Perhaps God disapproves of Barack Obama and allowed him to win as a punishment for the wickedness of Americans. Perhaps God is preparing for the Second Coming and is allowing the governments of the world to collapse. Or, perhaps God does approve of Barack Obama and allowed him to win because he is a great leader. Or, maybe God doesn't want a Mormon to be president because it would allow Mormonism to become more 'mainstream' (which would be both positive and negative for Mormons). Yet another idea, maybe God does want a Mormon to be president, but allowed the American people to choose what they wanted. Really, the only way to know the mind of God is to pray and ask Him to reveal to you His purposes.
No! I'm Mormon and I certainly do not believe that.
God is actually telling us that we should not put a negro in the white house again or he will destroy America.
Nope. The President of the United States is chosen by the votes of the Electoral College, not by God. Even if God did have a hand in choosing the president, perhaps He didn't want a Mormon to win because it would allow Mormonism to become too mainstream, or because it would thwart the pending collapse of governments prior to the Second Coming. Some conservative Christians believe God wants to punish Americans by allowing Barack Obama a second term. Catholics, Protestants, and other Mormons have lost presidential elections in every election - that does not prove that their religion is false, and rarely has anything to do with their religion at all.
There has not yet been a Mormon president in the US.
Hurricanes are a natural disaster that have been occurring since before recorded history. They have no connection whatsoever to a presidential candidate. If God didn't want someone to be president He would probably influence the hearts of His people to vote for the candidate He liked most. However, I think many would agree that to God, who the leader of a country is seems like a very small matter.
The leaders of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) have strict policy of making no comments about political candidates. Several Mormons have had failed presidential campaigns in the past, and Mormons have never seen this as God disapproving of the candidate or his faith - only the voters disapproving of his political policies. The leaders of the Mormon Church have said all that they will say on the matter by releasing a statement congratulating President Obama and asking that all people pray for him.
No. James Sinegal, the president of Costco, is Catholic.
No, for several reasons. The first being that if Mitt Romney becomes the president, he is only president of the United States, not the ruler of the world. Second, the Mormon prophet never directed him to do this. The prophet directs the church as a whole, not individuals. Third, nothing in Mormon doctrine says that a Mormon will rule at the end of days - in fact it states quite the opposite. And fourth, the only person who can hasten the end times is God himself. No mortal man has power to do that.
it is the heavenly father otherwise known as god or jesus christ
God does speak to women. It's just not as widely heard of as the men. God speaks to whoever he wants to. ~*Answered by a Mormon*~
No such organization as the FREERMASON.
No, the first Mormon to run for president was Joseph Smith, during the 1844 election. Mitt Romney's father, George, ran for president in the 1968 election, Mitt Romney ran in 2008 and 2012, and another Mormon, Jon Huntsman, also ran for president in 2012. Mitt Romney is the first Mormon to be chosen as a major party candidate.
