Why does Infinity claim its 2002-2004 Q45 does not need fog lights but then adds fog lights to their 2005-2006 Q45 models?

Infiniti added fog lights to the '05 & '06 model years for cosmetic reasons, and to compliment the styling changes to the front bumper. The fog lights illumination output really doesn't provide any significant lighting performance. Because the Q45's advanced headlamp/HID lighting technology out performs the foglights illumination output. You can add the OEM fog lights from the '05 & '06 Q45 to the '02-'04 model years if you want a similar look.

Yes they are, all of the G35 models that Infinity has made have the feature of the backlit control buttons and clocks. Very Nice Car!

It is your multifunction switch that has gone out. It is located in the steering column. I used my emergency lights and it blew out brake lights, turn signals, and emergency lights. In newer models Chevy did a recall not so for our older models. Mine is a 1995.
