Japan is stuctured mainly from volcanos and earthquakes, it is made up of these things becuase there are 3 tectonic plates near or on japan(tectonic plate=earths crust/a part of it) and the tectonic plates constantly move and the eurasain plate goes over the pacific plate which is a hard process and therefore creates the earthquake and possibly a tsunami
P.S: i cant remeber the 3rd plate :3 o and on the island Hokkido there isnt many there as it is close to the 3rd one that doesnt move much :3 :D
Japan is situated on a major active faultline along most of its length. The high level of activity results in many major earthquakes and volcanic eruptions occurring in and around Japan.
becuz their more closer to everything then we are
Because they are on the plates boundaries
There are so many earthquakes in Japan because the country is in what is called the Pacific Ring of Fire which is an area where large numbers of earthquakes and volcanic eruptions occur in the basin of the Pacific Ocean. The Ring of Fire has 452 volcanoes and is home to over 75% of the world's active and dormant. Another reason why Japan has so many earquakes is because there are so many different tectonic plates (layers of the earth's crust) underneath it and each plate keeps rubbing with the other plates. Earthquakes cause a bit of damage but not a lot in Japan, this is because they have happened lots of times so people in Japan have managed create buildings that probabley won't get destroyed by an earthquake. Japan also has an Earthquake and tsunami warnings which are basically alarms so they knew when an earthquake was happening. most houses in Japan are made out of cheap, light materials so they won't kill people who are inside.
Yes there was an earthquake in japan but if u r asking about the one that happened recently then of course and the earthquake was so powerful it almost caused a tsunami on the coast of Oregon and California but there has been plenty of earthquakes in Japan, so I'm not sure why you would ask that.
Earth has seven tiles and when they wobble or move they make earthquakes, where there are joints of tiles they make earthquakes e.g. Japan. Japan is on the ends of two tiles and it also has volcanos so its easier to have volcanic eruptions so when they wobble or move they crack the lasnd and also make earthquakes happen
Vancouver has so many earthquakes because it is along the ring of fire, a fault line.
This is a tough question to answer because earthquakes occur in so many places all over the world. They are generally recorded by magnitute, death tolls, and frequency for each country, but I was unable to find a list that compiled all of the data together. japan have so many earthquakes because it sits on 3 tectonic plates
The mountains made the Japanese move to the coast to make their homes, and as a result, they started to eat a bunch of fish. The Ring of Fire is an area that has many earthquakes and volcanoes. It goes right through Japan, so that's why Japan has so many earthquakes and volcanoes. Also, the Ring of Fire's earthquakes and volcanoes shape Japan, and that's why it has so many mountains.
There are fault lines in those areas, and when the earth's plates move, they cause earthquakes. There are two fault lines in San Francisco, but I do not know how much in Japan.
That's how life is
not enough money for schools since there were so many earthquakes.
Ur mummas plate
Very much so. This is where volcanoes, earthquakes and even tsunamis can occur.
Japan. Tsunami's really don`t happen in most countries(Hawaii may vary). Earthquakes are popular in Japan,so yes.

It is a destructive boundry, when the plate sticks tention builds up when the two plates unstick there is massive shockwave.
As seen Recently on the telly there has been a huge earthquake of the coast of Japan. So Earthquakes are most common near the coast of Japan. I may not be correct as I have relied on the TV.
Nobody knows, we can't predict earthquakes.
