think of jesus like a lord and God/Father as a king
The Lord is Jesus. The Lord is God. Jesus is a second person in the Holy Trinity, thus he IS GOD! Whether you call Jesus God, Lord, King, Shepard, there is no difference. Jesus=God and God=Jesus.
We call HIM GOD the father God the son God the Holy Spirit, Jesus Christ,Lord and Savior,
God Lord Jesus Father in Heaven are among the most common titles or names (in English) that different Christian groups use to call their god.
Our Lord Teaches us that it is Built upon St. Peter the Apostle.
Yes God is Jesus father. Jesus called him so.
Thomas said to Him, "Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?"6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.7 "If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him." 8 Philip said to Him, "Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us." 9 Jesus said to him, "Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, 'Show us the Father'? 10 Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me?"---Call 1888-Need Him for more questions--Jesus loves you and He died for you
The Lord's Prayer begins -" Our Father which art in Heaven." It was given to the 12 disciples by our Lord Jesus Christ at their request to him to teach them to pray. We call it the Lord's Prayer as it was given by the Lord Jesus for our Lord God in heaven.
Why we could not call any maan holy father is because we have a Father and his name is GOD/JESUS. If we call any man our holy father than what did they do for us to help us in anyway? GOD/JESUS died for us on the cross to save us from our sins, so that is why we call God/JESUS our Holy Father.
My Father
Catholics do call God father. Not to do so would be heretical as Jesus, himself, said we should address him as Our Father.
The Lord (Capitalized) The Son of God
Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (commonly called the "Mormon" Church) believe that God is our literal Father in Heaven. They usually call Him God, Father, God the Father, Heavenly Father, or Father in Heaven. They also believe in Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the Savior and Redeemer of all men. Like other Christians, they have many names for Jesus Christ, which are found in the Bible. These include Jesus, Christ, Lord, Savior, Redeemer, Son of God, Lamb, Good Shepherd, Jehovah, and Emmanuel. When a member of the Church referrs to "God", they may also be referring to the Godhead or Trinity - the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit - rather than a specific member of this group.
