Why does Marlene have Aerith or Aeris's ribbon in Advent Children Final Fantasy VII?

I don't belive that that was the same ribbon that Areis/Aerith wore in FF7, however, she may be wearing a similar ribbon to the one that Aeris/Aerith wore, because if you noticed, Cloud,Tifa,Cid, and maybe some of the others all had red ribbons on their arms in honor and memory of Aeris/Aerith.
