I had a similar problem with my 91 Chevy silverado. If you have trouble accelerating and cant get past 25mph, it may be that the catalitic converter is stopped up. Try feeling how much exaust comes out the tailpipe, this may be an indicatoin. Dont bother getting another huge converter like the one on there though because they are expensive. A little high flow converter is under $100 and worked great for me.
