raisins will float due there carbonarion and the raisins low density level in them.
Vinegar
Hot air is less dense compared to cold air. The heated air in the balloon will rise, making the balloon float in the air.to make it rise.
Instead of blowing normal air (your breath, a pump, etc.) into the balloon, you'd use helium to make it float.
For the same reason that a beach ball can rise high in the water but can't leave the water. A balloon is floating in air. If there is no air around it, then it has nothing to float in.
Because helium is lighter than air. So helium balloon will rise up.
Because it heats the air and of course the hot air will rise above the cold air causing it to float!
Helium is lighter than air and a balloon filled with helium may rise up.
oil is not soluble in vinegar as vinegar has a polar attraction just like water.
A balloon is filled with helium, which is less dense than the air around us. Because of this, it is able to float. But, over time, the helium leaves the balloon making it fall again.
The baking soda is a base. It reacts with acidic ingredients in the batter to make bubbles that help the cake to rise. Just mix some vinegar with baking soda and you can witness the reaction.
the reason is that as the balloon gradually goes up the density of air in the upper atmosphere decreases
