I've had this same urge my entire life. Except I don't think it smells gross, I love it. I can remember all the way back to 2nd grade and sitting in class intently watching a girl sucking and chewing on a piece of lint till she spit it out on the ground. This is waaaay before I knew of anything "sexual", all I knew is I wanted to get my hands on that lint that was soaked in her saliva so I could smell it. The smell was so strong and wonderful it filled me with a really strange sensation I had never felt before and all I knew is that I loved it! Later in life I would come to find that this feeling I felt was serious arousal, but at that age I had no idea what that even was.
