I would just get cello tapes because it could ruin the paint on a cello.

The body moldings are attached with double-sided vehicle tape as well as small plastic pins which are attached to the molding. This can easily be repaired by buying new tape specific for automotive application, cleaning up old dirt, grime and tape from both the molding and vehicle, and applying the new tape.
What is the material of the tape? If it is paper or cloth plaster there may be pores inside them so they are not. but the cello tape or scotch tape is made of polymer and hence an insulator. But be careful as these tapes are very thin and can melt if the high current flows. So better use the insulator tape.
