I don't really understand how a person can romantically love someone when there is no connection with that person. I think you should sit down and write out what you love about that person, what you don't like about that person, and how you would feel if you are not with that person any longer. That should give you some insight regarding your own feelings therefore giving you an idea of how to handle the situation.
