because when food goes into the stomache you need stomache acid to break the food into smaller peices so that your intestines can take what your body needs from the food and if you dont have any stomache acid then your stomache wont be able to break dont the food for the small intestine so it will be pushed through to the large intestine where e.coli will eat it.
