Not all tires need to be inflated to three times normal air pressure. In fact there is a great variety of air pressures that are recommended for tires that can range from just a low number (3 - 4 psi) to sometimes reaching 100 psi (pounds per squiare inch) and more.

The amount of pressure depends on the size of the tire and the amount of weight it needs to carry. If a tire is being used to carry a heavy load, it will need more air pressure to carry that load --providing the size of the tire stays the same.

A very skinny bicycle tire can sometimes need as much as 90 psi to carry an adult rider without going flat but if you put on a fat tire (which has much more air in it) you won't need to pump it up to be so hard.

What is the normal blood pressure for a 4-year-old?

Why do divers watches say they are pressurized to three atmospheres?

This basically means that when the diver is underneath the water, the pressure down there is 3 times the pressure at normal land level. This means that the watch won't crack or break at three atmospheres worth of pressure.

Normal blood presure for a 27 year old?

Normal is 120/80. We start to call it high (hypertension) when it is 140/90 (either number). Anything in between is "prehypertension" and a signal to try to eat well (lower sodium), control your weight, and get regular exercise.

3 Three important tire checks to make are A Proper inflation adequate tread and normal wear B Rotation inflation and alignment C Air pressure balance and spare tire?

The three important tire checks to make are proper inflation(pressure), adequate tread(tread depth), and normal wear(wear and tear).

Why does the wingless flying tube stay in the air?

The wind pressure inside the tube is constant, while the pressure outside is not. Also, the pressure above and below the tube are constantly moving at the same rate, therefore same pressure. What happens if there are the same pressure? You get it? When pressure is the same on both sides, it stays in the air! The reason it falls is because it stopped spinning, and therefore the pressure is the same in all three places: Above, Inside, and Below. This is all a lie

Which of the following would likely have the greatest range of pressure a tornado a middle latitude cyclone a hurricane or all have the same pressure?

All three of these have lower than normal pressure and the ranges overlap. A tornado would likely have the greatest range and the lowest potential pressures.

What does bar mean in chemistry?

"Bar" is approximately the pressure of earth's atmosphere at sea level. Multiple bars are multiple normal air pressures. Three bar is three times the air pressure at sea level, etc. Technically a bar is defined as 100 kPa, which is very slightly less than standard atmospheric pressure (1 atmosphere = 1.01325 bar).

Ideal blood pressure for 64 year old female?

Normal blood pressure for any adult is less then 120/80. Hypertension is any blood pressure over 140/90. Hypertension is not diagnosed with a single reading, however, as the diagnosis of hypertension is dependent on a persistence of high blood pressure. For this reason, hypertension is only diagnosed and treated if the blood pressure is elevated over 140/90 on three separate readings on three separate days.
