is this a diesel truck?
does this engine have a turbo?
if it is a diesel with a turbo,it will blow white smoke when cold till it warms up
if it continues to blow smoke check your air filter
other reason if it continues to blow smoke is the turbo is about to crater get it checked
also check engine oil for coolant loss
if coolant is leaking into cylanders, this will cause white smoke
It can.
There's a good chance that coolant is getting mixed in with your oil.
White smoke is usually a sign of water in combustion chamber-check oil for any signs of water in oil
your truck blue smoke when it burns oil, or transmission fluid.
blow by through the turbo ,my truck did the same thing had to get the turbo rebuilt
buy a cummins
white smoke is water. head gasket or ?
A for sale sign, then buy a diesel.
Not directly, but it can crack or blow your head gasket. (Which will cause white smoke) Happened to me =(
because it can
White smoke is usually do to water in your system. That happens when you blow a head gasket, or have a cracked head. If your oil level is high check your oil for water, if so that's were your coolant is going. All in all you have a blown head gasket.
a blow piston or a head gasket in your engine
