On my 2000 Montana the ABS light came on when the drivers side rear wheel hub sensor for ABS malfunctioned. If this is the problem, you have to change the whole wheel hub because it is made as one unit. you have a bad connection, probably @ a wheel abs wiring, a visual inspection may see which one or service shop scope test
If the ABS and brake light are coming on while driving, this is an indicator that it is time to get your brakes checked and replaced. If not, the brakes will wear out causing you to not be able to stop.
Bring to a shop that has an ABS scanner to determine the problem
The abs light comes on at start up for a few seconds to do a bulb check. If it stays on or comes on while driving and stays on the computer has detected a malfunction and set a code.
Honda odessy abs light on when driving
It could be. It depends on the reason why the ABS light is on.
it is the light telling you that your brakes are not performing the best they can. take the car to a service shop and get your brakes done.
ABS stands for Anti-lock Brake System. If the ABS light stays illuminated while your driving it is telling you there is a problem with the ABS and will not function if needed. Have a trusted mechanic check it out soon.
I had a 1999 Grand AM same thing happened to me. A while after that i was driving and the radio lost power, then the power steering. I had the alternator and battey replaced and that fixed the problem.
