I can tell you what needs to be done to keep fish successfully and if you do what I advise, your fish will not continue to die every 2 weeks. First you will need a fish tank (aquarium) with a cover glass, some gravel a light and a filter . Then you must work out how many gallons of water you will actually have in your tank. If you have a nominal figure say you bought a 5 gallon tank, you can assume that your tank will actually be holding about 3 gallons when in operation, because tanks are never filled to the brim and you should have at least 1 inch + of gravel at the base of the tank for growing water plants in. Once you know your water volume you can work out how many inches of fish you can safely keep in the tank. The calculation is simple because it is 1 inch of fish to a minimum of 1 gallon of water. So in the case of a 3 gallon actual capacity tank you can house up to a maximum of 3 inches of fully grown fish. Now what you have to do to begin is. First you put the (cleaned/washed) gravel in the tank then you add the water, then you get the filter going and then you plant the plants. Lastly place the cover glass on the tank and turn on the light. The light can be on during the daytime and turned off at night. You should now wait for at least 2 weeks before putting your fish into the tank. If you miss any of the above things you are guaranteed to fail eventually. Once the fish are in the tank you will need to change about 50% of the water weekly. Good luck and have fun.
about once a week
You really dont clean a fish but you clean the tank and you clean that about once a week or every other week and you feed a fish everyday
Your fish will be much happier if you change at least 50% of the tank water every week.
yes you can if you clean the tank properly every week
Every week so your fish can feel like their at home.
once or twice a week
no chances are this is not what killed them, it is much more likely to be that she over fed them. fish in a tank should only be fed every other day and should be cleaned out once a week by removing 25% of the tank water.
idk exactly but what i did was have an arena fish or 2 in tank 1 then wait for about a week or two and i got it
the fish probably had babies
Make sure that the filter bag that is in your filter is clean. The cause can also b too many fish or over feeding.
Your water is orange?! I should get the water tested right away and you should only be taking 25% of the water out a week or you will completely mess up your tank.
No, but it is necessary to replace 20-30% of the water of a fish tank per week. This can be achieved by installing a filter inside the tank which will automatically recycle and clean the water.
