Because it is a very cold and remote place.
All of the other planets were named after Roman gods. Venetia Phair came up with the idea because she thought that this planet should follow suit.
There are none. Setting foot on Pluto with out a space suit is suicide.
a space suit and air
You breathe in the mixture provided in your life support suit. That, or die.
No you have to bring your own air to breathe and a heating system in your suit.
You couldn't. You would need to use one of those space suit thingy-majiggers.
If you were to suddenly appear on Pluto, there is no amount of protection that would save you. It is so far from the sun, that temperatures are close to absolute zero. You would need to be wearing clothing - a space suit really - with great insulation and internal heating to keep you from freezing. The suit would also have to supply air, or at least oxygen, at normal levels since Pluto has no breathable atmosphere to speak of.
May 1946, he advertised the bathing suit, known as the "Atome," as the world's "smallest bathing suit". Réard named his swimsuit the "bikini", taking the name from the Bikini Atoll,

Pluto is a planet with a different atmosphere than earth so you would be floating in NO air. As well, scientists estimate that Pluto's temperature is somewhere near -378 to -396 F (-228 to -238 C, 35 to 45 K). If a person was unprotected by the best suit (but NO suit can currently protect to those low temps), the unprotected body would freeze in nano-seconds, before the person had a chance to take one full breath.
