What happens to the pressure inside a soda bottle when it is shaken vigorously?

When a soda bottle is shaken vigorously, the pressure inside the bottle increases. This is because the shaking causes the carbon dioxide gas in the soda to become more agitated and create more pressure.

Why does soda fizz more when shaken then when it isn't shaken because the contents of the container should still be the same and therefore wouldn't create more fizz but it does?

This is because the carbon dioxide or fizz becomes irritated so when the bubbles in the soda are shaken the molecules in the pop start to move and bounce around inside thus it begins to fizz if shaken more than not shaken .

What is the name of the drink that has something to do with baby bubbly that was made by Goldwell Champagne Perry from the late 1930's onward?

I would like to know more, myself. As I was sharing a glass of champagne with my wife I was recalling an oldememory about Scotland and Baby Bubbly. In 1956 when I was five years old, my Mother, brother and I went to Glasgow, Scotland to meet my grandparents. (my mother was a WWII war bride). I only have vague memories - the museum, cobblestone streets, candy and chocolate - all different than what was availabe at home, and, Baby Bubbly. I believe that was the name of the champagne and what was printed on the bottle - soft drink sized. I loved it and could not figure out why I was only allowed to have a little bit at a time when I could have a whole soft drink to myself while on vacation. When I was older I was told that I could only have a few swallows because it was champagne and of course, at five years old... It was called Baby Cham and i use to steal or try anyway sips from my dads bottle lol i was about four as well lol

How long does unopened California chardonnay champagne last?

Like most wines, opened champagne will go flat and lose its wine characteristics as soon as 24 hours. Even recorking or removing the oxygen from the top of the bottle will only preserve the champagne for an extra 1-2 days. It is best to drink your bubbly at one sitting, or expect to use it in some cocktail mixers.
