Clownfish can't live without a sea anemone, just like humans can't live without plants.
Clownfish are the fish that can live in sea anemones. If other fish try to go in the see anemone they'll get harmed. Sea anemones protect clownfish only.
Coral reef is the home to many sea anemones which have poisonous stings.
When an enemy comes by the clown fish hide in the sea anemones. The predators do not dare to come near.
This keeps the clown fish safe.

Clownfish are not particularlily 'helpful' to their environment. Very few species, in fact only one (Homo sapiens - mankind) strive to help their environment. Clownfish live in the reef environment, and as a by product of their behaviors and breeding, they provide food (baby clownfish) for the reef, and also produce metabolic waste that helps aglae to grow.
A coral reef is a plant in the ocean that can produce food for animals. It also can be a home.Even clownfish live in coral reefs.Ever seen the move "Finding Nemo"?Well Nemo and his dad live in a coral reef!

Clownfish are capable of living in low light, however it is not healthy for them. Clownfish get the most of their nutrition from grazing, they are omnivores. On a low light reef, less algae will build up and less the fish will have to eat. However, If you supplement with plant foods and protein, then it would be better. It all depends on how low the light is. If you can grow coral then fish will be fine in it.
no cause they are native to the sea and the great barrier reef
The Clownfish are not born live but are hatched from eggs.
