Actually a black cat starts to turn brown or grey because of the sun. If your cat sits in the sun a lot it is because the color of their hair is actually oxidizing with the sun, therefore it turns brown.
The greying typically seen with older cats is the same as humans. Their hair around their mouth and face will start to lose color and grey.
The colouring of any animal is based on it's gene pool and the genetic history of the animals ancestors. It is also based on dominant & recessive genes. For example suppose the dominant fur colour is black and the recessive fur colour is white. A male cat has a dominant & recessive genes for black or white fur. However, when he mates with a cat that only has recessive genes for white fur, the recessive genes will supersede the dominant gene and the kittens will have black with white fur.
Do you mean if they had a darkly coloured coat that turns paler and more brown over a space of time? That's normal. It's to do with old age - their fur grows out it's colour and goes brown and/or grey. Also, it may get paler from lots of sun. Cats are sun worshippers, so if your feline has access to a lot of sunlight, then over time her/his coat will appear lighter in colour. I have had two black cats that went brown in patches after several years, it's nothing to worry about.
if they are outside a lot and take advantage of that wonderful uv you can see if they are bleached blonds by looking for brown roots
They are gray the same reson us humans are African Amarican,White,Spanish,Latin or any thing else its cause every living thing has a difference
If your cats fur turning gray don't worry that's normal. It does that its like our hair when we get older.
This is most likely because he is getting older. The fur on animals will turn white and grey as they age.
it is because of the sun it reflects off there shiny fur causing different color fur
Because the fur itself is black but the skin is white.
Usually, these seeds are very weak or old. Sometimes, however, they can grow into s splendid plant.
i dont know about being terrified. but if you constantly worry about things then you will probably grow a few white hairs.

If the whisker was cut, yes it will grow back. Sometimes if a whisker is burned it will not grow back.Whiskers are hair shafts, just like the rest of a cat's fur. Like every single hair on a cat's body they will periodically shed and then regrow. So yes their whiskers grow back. :)NO! THEY DO NOT GROW BACK! Just kidding. They do grow... :)yes they do
All cats grow, from newborns to older kittens to adults. Some cats are naturally quite small, but still grow and develop like any other animal.
Just like people do, they grow with age.
