Because it is an enzyme which means it breaks down cells and bacteria in order to make dishes and plates more hygenic
I think it says on the detergent bottle that if you ever ingest the dish detergent, that you should|:a) drink lotsa water (to dilute the effect of toxic chemicals)b) call a doctor or the POISON CONTROL CENTRE (something's gonna go down)
No. It ruined my washer. It doesn't break down in h2o.
Enzymes can make a big difference in how effective a laundry detergent is, especially when removing stains from food grease, blood, ice cream, and so forth. Enzymes used in cleaners in general "break down" or decompose large molecules like proteins and fats, which may be part of the dirt you want removed from clothing.
The direstion of detergent is somewhat going down people are not trusting their detergent detergent is slowly going down into the world. Goodbye detergent.
Fat is not water soluble so water really won't do anything. Ethanol is an alcohol, which can break down grease.
Surfactants are the compounds that break down grease and oil.

I'm assuming that you mean oil such as motor oil that has gotten on the animals fur or skin??? If that is the case, bathe the animal with an emulsifying detergent such as a dish detergent. Emulsifiers bind with oils, greases and fats or break them down and allow them to be rinsed off with water.
Dish soap is just detergent, meaning it breaks up the fat in milk which makes it move rapid. And the food coloring is just to make it noticeable. Soap breaks down the surface tension of the water molecules in milk.

Yes, dish soap does affect algae. Because of the chemicals and cleaning agents, the dish soap will help break down the algae.
It helps break the nuclear membrane of the cell. Detergent containing the compound SDS ( sodiumdodecyl sulfate) is used to break down and emulsify the fat and proteins that make up a cell membrane.
