Could be the carburetor/idle speed out of adjustment, possibly a vacuum leak
Doesn't look like anything, as Dodge didn't make the Aries in 1996.
How do you remove oil pan from Dodge Aries stationwagon. It is loose but cannot get it off.
A bad idle control module will make it race up to about 3000 r.p.m. when in park.
Which engine??
The idle is not adjustable on a hemi. The computer controlls it by actuating the throttle valve. If your idle is too high or low you need to have sytem checked for codes.
The dodge Aries was discontinued in 1989, but I would try looking under the passenger side of the car, in front of the rear tire.
Idle speed on a Dodge Neon is not adjustable. Idle is computer controlled with an airflow control motor on the throttle body.
Idle speed is not adjustable. It is controlled by the engine copmuter. If your idle speed is too high or low you have a problem with a sensor or the idle air controll actuator. Also, a weak battery can cause the idle too be erratic
The dodge neon has an optimum idle speed like any other car. The Dodge Neon's optimum idle speed at rest is between 12.9% and 13.3%.
It depends: The 1984 Dodge Aries SE 4-Door 2.2L has a top speed of: 167 km/h (104 mph) The 1984 Dodge Aries SE 4-Door 2.2L 5-speed has a top speed of: 167 km/h (104 mph) The 1984 Dodge Aries SE 4-Door 2.2L automatic has a top speed of: 158 km/h (98 mph) The 1984 Dodge Aries SE 4-Door 2.6L automatic has a top speed of: 167 km/h (104 mph)
"How do you move the idle tensioner for a 1998 3 litre dodge?"
It is screwed into the exhaust manifold.
