Because they are just playing.
Not all dogs chase cats, but there are several reasons why a dog would chase a cat. Cats that are let outside usually roam, as they have quite large territories. Dogs, that perceive the house they live in as their territory, might chase off a cat if the dog feels like its territory is being threatened. Some dogs have a higher "chase" drive than others, and will just chase animals smaller than themselves for no other reason than to chase it. These reasons do not mean that dogs hate cats. Dogs and cats living in the same household are often very friendly towards each other.
All dogs and cats get along with each other, they are NOT natural enemies, if a dog and cat do not like each other it is because their owners trained them to be like that, most people who have pets and own both dogs AND cats will tell you that they just love each other, there are always people who hate cats and train their dogs to chase and dislike them, much to their regret, because a cat will defend itself by scratching the dog's face.
No, animals do not marry each other. They just mate, but cats and dogs cannot do this.
No, dogs and cats cannot mate with each other because they are different species with different numbers of chromosomes.
nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
No.
They are not attracted to each other.
No!!!!!!!!!!! just like cats and dogs can't stand each other they can't eitheir.
All dogs.. the dogs just got to get to know each other with the cats. There are specific cases where a dog and cat becomes BFFL .
If they are exposed to each other when young, then yes. However, some breeds of dogs have a strong "prey drive". That means that they chase small, running animals. But, as long as you expose a puppy to cats and a kitten to dogs, they should have no problem learning to like each other. My Basset Hound and my kitten get along fabulously!
cats and dogs, and also their is mice and humans (we count as a animal) and sometimes mice and cat's, also cows and dogs. (the odd time they do get along from personal experience
Because they are different species.
