On newer fuel injected cars when the Manifold Absolute Pressure sensor (M.A.P sensor) goes bad it will cause the car to fire up but then quickly stall. Unplug the MAP sensor and then try starting the car, if it will stay running with it unplugged it is the culprit (don't try and drive around with it unplugged though, it will run terrible and get horrible milage)
This is just one of many possible causes
The battery may be too weak to start the engine. Jump start it or replace the battery.
Does it quit shaking when it warms up? What engine and year of Aerostar?
It is possible the battery in your remote is dying...that signals a fail to start and a Check Engine Light for low remote battery voltage
the engine will start up and run for a few seconds then quit
If your engine is over heating it could get too hot and quit running, then start again when it gets cooled off. Otherwise, "something" got too hot and quit working, cools off and works again.
How can I start the engine on a Lincoln town car. I accidently caused the horn to keep blowing and I kept pushing buttons on the remote until it quit blowing. Then the anti theft lights were flashing on the dash and the engine would not start.
A rage Quit is when you start yelling angrily then quit.
You burnt up your engine, or froze it up. Engines cannot run without oil. This need to be checked every month.
the carter carb, they suck. get a weber. you'll thank me later.
The engine needs fuel, compression and spark. You are missing one of those.
Check under hood by the air intake and see if any wires came unhooked.
