I was actually looking into this myself and this is what I've gathered. Fire is basically the releasing of molecules such as carbon which then combine with oxygen to form a complete pair. This process releases energy , which "excites nearby electrons" which then give of electro magnetic energy to which the light waves are channeled through the eye to hit the retina which give us the image of light. Correct me if I'm wrong but that is what I have gathered thus far.
fire is a chemical reaction
Rapid oxidation, also known as fire, gives off heat, light, and smoke.
yes it does give off light
The phrase 'give off light' means to have a lot of light.
Planets and Moons only reflect light, they do not 'give off light'.
A rose does not give off light
No. It would take too many, they don't give off enough "light" and they aren't found everywhere.
The stars give off light
Fire provides warmth, ability to cook, and give light
Planets dont give off light therefore all planets dont give off its own light
A Planet does not give off light of its own.
Infrared light doesn't "give off" energy; in this case, it IS the energy.
